Lars de Wildt is a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven and a visiting researcher (2021) at the Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies at Tampere University’s Game Research Lab. He studies how media technologies and industries change contemporary culture; including how videogames changed religion in a post-secular age, and how online platforms changed conspiracy theory in a post-truth age.
