About the Seminar

University of Tampere Hypermedia Laboratory's Game Research Lab organizes a seminar on Gamers in Society. The two-day event consists of themed sessions that discuss the social and cultural aspects of gaming. The seminar will be chaired by Professor Frans Mäyrä (University of Tampere). Commentators include Associate Professor T.L. Taylor (IT University of Copenhagen, DK) and Senior Lecturer Daniel Pargman (The Royal Institute of Technology, SWE).

Note that admission into non-presenter (seminar audience) places is now open; please reserve your place by mailing Jaakko Stenros (jaakko.stenros {at} uta.fi). Seats will be filled in first-come, first-served basis.
